Charlie and Emma first got in touch during Lockdown no.1; their original plans to get married abroad were cancelled and so they decided to scrap the idea and plan an intimate late-summer Devon boho wedding at the amazing Brickhouse Vineyard.
The morning of their wedding started in Christow in an airbnb. They had the most amazing weather so the boys hung out outside whilst the girls got ready at the top of the house. Even though it was an intimate wedding it was super nice to still capture the morning preparations with Sarah Spiller working her magic with the hair and the makeup queen Nicola Redman.
We then headed to Brickhouse Vineyard where Emma walked down the aisle and both Charlie and Emma had written their own vows which was super special to capture, especially the emotion and reactions. When I found out that Emma Hewlett was in-charge of the flowers I just knew that the decor would look incredible. The hexagon arch supplied by Nicki looked perfect amongst the orange flowers, pampas grass and palms. Not only did the arch make for an amazing ceremony backdrop we also took it outside for C & E’s portraits and it looked amazing! Emma looked incredible in her Grace Loves Lace dress giving off all the boho vibes. The rest of the day was filled with drinks, good food, garden games and some hilarious speeches.
